Sampled from a can this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy dark brown head that left very good lacing. The aroma was odd and a bit off with notes of cocoa and berry. The flavor was roasty and dryish with cardboard, malt and a hint of vague berry. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

$4.50 pint can, Wine Warehouse. Pours murky black with a small brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, berry. Flavor is ashy chocolate, burnt malt, light berry, grass. Strange flavor, kinda thin overall. Nothing special.

16 ounce can. Pours a very dark brown color with a small beige head. A big sweet roast and dark fruit nose. Very good flavor. Roast, deep metallic roasted malts which I love. Light sweet orange chocolates for sure, and the backbone here makes it balanced and great. Damn nice.

4 oz. draft at the brewery. The raspberry shows in a strong character throughout. Raspberry, barley, old roast. Normal body and texture. It works if you like raspberry flavors in a porter.

16 ounce can. Opaque dark brown color. Small creamy tan head. Roasted malt nose has obvious notes of raspberry. Roasted malt flavor hints at dark chocolate and tart raspberry. Thin bodied. Tart, bitter finish. A bit lacking overall. Could use some more depth in the malt and raspberry components.
