From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours reddish with fine white foam. Aroma is malty and sweet, maybe too much. Body is dense with good carbonation. Taste is intensely sweet, with a liquor feeling. Finish is long and sweet.

Sweet, cherry aroma. Big head, half-clear brown color. Very sweet, some sour, unnoticeable bitterness. Like some juice with alcohol notes.

A bit more bitterness and bit softer carbonation would have done this one well.
A really nice deep golden color with a fine thick off white head. Ok lacing down the sides of the glass. Good intensity in the aroma. Typical Belgian strong ale. Full body and an average carbonation. The carbonation could have been a bit softer. Would make it more comfortable to drink. A bit to sweet versus bitterness. Oily texture. Dried fruits, yeast, some spices, brown sugar and toffee in the flavor. Decent complexity.

Hosszú és nagy hab. Sötét borostyán szín. Erős illatából a komló fűszeressége köszön vissza. Intenzív édes karamelles íz, koriander, komló. Alig-alig keserű. Utóíze koriander, és karamell, és jó hosszú. Olyan testes, hogy desszert helyett is elmegy.

Hazy ochre to tan colour, beautiful dense rocky off-white head. The nose is sweetish with signs of sugar syrup, dried fruit, belgian yeast, a tiny touch of anise. Medium body. Oily. The flavour is sweet enough. Bready. Kvassy. dried apples & pears. Yeasty notes present. A hint of bitterness on ending. Alcohol well hidden. It’s rather on the sweet side of the style still quite enjoyable.

33cl Bottle from AH. Hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma of red fruits, some alcohol, yeast, cookies. Flavour is very sweet, sugar, red fruits, cookies, some caramel, sharp alcohol, esters, bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Way too sweet.
