Corsendonk Rousse is amberkleurig, helder en levendig bier. Typisch, rijk met een lichte toets van hop, harmonieus en evenwichtig. Zacht in de mond met accenten van karamel en een licht bittere afdronk.

Pours clear amber with a frothy, off-white head. The aroma contains malt, caramel, (red) fruits, bread, yeast and some alcohol. It tastes medium to heavy sugary sweet and light spicy bitter. Sweet, cloying finish, bit herbal and quite alcohol. Medium body, sticky texture, fizzy carbonation. Pleasant when I was younger, but wisdom comes with age. (Edited 20/5/18)

Tap at the Brouwcafe, Scheveningen. Poured a clear medium amber with a big frothy white head and lots of broken lace. The aroma is yeast and tropical fruit. The flavour is medium sweet with a sugary malt fruit palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. I could feel my teeth rotting!

Amber with small white head. Lots of peach, candy, some red fruits, caramel. Quite sweet, with dry tart touch. Medium bodied, thin feel. Strange stuff, not like a lot of other lemonade-like Belgian ales. A bit more natural but with a weird dry sweetness. Hmmmm.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein minimal trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig süß, alkoholisch, belgische Hefe. Geschmack sehr malzig alkoholisch, fruchtig, würzig

Bottle. It pours a crystal clear dark golden to amber body and a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma has quite a lot of fruityness, raspberries mostly, with white sugar and some malty hints. Some alcohol hints. The flavor has a little bitterness, but is quite sweet and fruity. White sugar, raspberries, some spiced hints and alcohol warmth. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish, which dries up quite nice. A pleasant one, with a nice berry aroma and flavor. 130928

Amber beer that seems to try to be a fruit beer with it sweet notes of red grape, cherry and strawberry. Too artificial sweet.

dark amber colour, some off-white head; aroma of yeast, grape and raisin (a bit like a glass of dessert-wine in a wine cellar);taste of candy sugar, grape again, maybe some honey...and sugar and sugar again...it would be much better without this huge amount of sugar.
