Bottle. Frothy good off-white mo´stly lasting head. DArk amber colour. Moderate malty and hopy aroma. Plumb and rasin notes. Moderate bitter fruity flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Some mold notes. Oily palate. Not very good.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, dark and ruby amber colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Sweet dark malty and sour-fruity aroma of citrus, plums and red berries, accompanied by shades of caramel, light spicy notes and traces of sweaty hops. Sweet and moderately sour flavour, medium bodied with a rather smooth carbonation. Dark malty base with an aromatic fruity touch and a tinge of burnt elements/caramel; moderately sweet fruit-accented and spicy finish. A very nice brew. 04.XII.09

11th June 2008. Sweet brown beer. Licoricey medicinal notes with hints of spices. All blends together quite well and makes it a bit of the beaten track.

33cl bottle purchased from plan-b deep brown, giant thick smooth light brown head. sweet dark fruity, dessert liquer aroma, marzipan. stale berries. nice but also a bit artificial / spicy / chocolate fill like. flavor is veeeery sweet, chocolate, dark fruits, dessert wine, a bit too much, ends a little toffee bitter. flavor quite less interesting than aroma.

Hazy brown. Thin head. Slightly chocolatey. Lightly chewy character with some caramel, raisins and walnuts. Odd, I don’t entirely think it works but nor do I dislike it.

Bottle 33cl @ Home.Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lancing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, fruity - dark berryes, moderate to light heavy yeasty, spicy - clove. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a spicy burn finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively. It’s a bit to spicy IMO. A clear dark brown ale with a thick light moka head, receding. Aroma of dark plums, cinnamon hearts and caramel. In mouth, cinnamon is very pronounced with a very sweet malt, clove notes, almost close to a coca-cola. A bit too sweet for me. Bieropholie imports. BB 20/12/11

Bottle at Aarhus beerfestival. Pours dark brown with a nice white head. Aroma & taste is of dark fruits, yeast, spices & sugar. Full bodied. Long end. Nice!

Dark brown with creamy off white head. Very sweet malty aroma with notes of cinamon, raisins and plums. Spicy and malty flavor that is way to sweet.
