Sampled from the tap at the downtown location. Pours a clear straw gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has tart lemon and lemon rind with a bit of wheat underlying. Flavor has sour lemon with a bit of wheat and a hint of rind up front.

Lemon, sour milk, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Slightly hazy golden yellow with moderate white head. Lightly sweet melon, wheat malt, moderately bitter lactic acid, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body and balance. Very nice.

Crisp and clear golden and peach coloured body with a bright and noticeable two centimetre tall pure white head with thousands of small bubbles rising from the bottom nicely. Aroma of yeast, bread, grass, grain, a touch of peaches and tart berries with a touch of hay noticeable at the end - nice and light throughout. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and dry crisp tart fruity flavour that shows peaches, apricots, plums, pears, apples and a dose of hay at the end that adds to the complexity, but leaves the taste focused in two areas - dryness and tartness. Aftertaste shows a nice balance of sweetness, tartness and dry flavours, with a very easy-drinking fruitiness at the end. Overall, a nice and fruity, but dry beer with a good punch from the tart flavours and berries, but easy-drinking and still quite effervescent. Great to sample and if you like Berliners with a fruity appeal, this one would be right up your alley, if you can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from BeerTopia in Omaha, Nebraska on 27-June-2018 for US$1,67 sampled at my house here in Washington on 15-March-2019.

On tap at Fernson, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of lacto upfront, with a touch of tart citrus. Flavour is quite yogurty, with lacto dominating, and finishing assertively tart. Pleasant but simple. Alright.

Bottle share @ Malt & Mold. Pours cloudy lemon yellow with very small frothy white head, high carbonation, acidic aroma, sour lemon taste, thin body, long sour finish. Very sour, but drinkable.

Savor: pours pale with small head. Aroma is very lactic... standard. Sweet for a berliner and a but sour enough too. Not bad.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, melon, green apple, white wine, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of herbal, grass, pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart/sour lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, melon, green apple, white wine, wheat, cracker, and white bread; with lighter notes of herbal, grass, pepper, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Moderate lactic tartness and light bitter/spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, citrus zest, peach, pear, melon, green apple, white wine, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness balance, and zero puckering flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from tartness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/acidic, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is an excellent Berliner weisse! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink; with the modestely acidic/drying finish, never overly lactic. Very flavorful for the low ABV. Awesome well rounded Lacto complexity with balanced pale/wheat malts. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. One of the better ones I have had.
