Taster pour on tap at Tapped, Maplewood, MO. Appearance is three-finger off-white foamy head with good retention and nice sticky lacing. Aroma is mild citrus and herbal spicy rye. Taste is mild herbal, light rye spice bready backbone. Palate is medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, aroma and flavor are kind of muted. Just OK.

From Michelle: pours kind of hazy with white head. Aroma is fruity and a tad spicy. Taste is tangy from spice. Pretty sweet. Rye finish. Almost an NEIPA.

Draught @ City Beer. Juicy.extremely hazy bright yellow with large foamy off-white head, very faint citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel taste with roasted rye flavor, thin body, longish finish. Nice IPA, not too sharply hopped.

Bottle sent by Schlafly for review. The beer pours a hazy yellow; I’m guessing their house style is light filtering. The head is a bit more sudsy, and pale white. The smell has a full nose of pine resin with a slight bit of tropical fruit, maybe mango, behind. 65 IBUs may not seem overly bitter, and this is not a tongue-burner, but bitterness does work well with the hops’ aromatic qualities. Taste seems pretty light, and is not sticky, but the main aftertaste is malty, with a bit of rye spice. The alcohol doesn’t come in very strong, leaving this as a beer balanced between bitter and sweet.

Bottle. Pour is a hazy blonde with a large white head. Aroma is a lemon hop with maybe some dry malty backbone. Flavor is a minor hop but this does have a large spicy rye malt aftertaste. This is decent, the rye really comes through in the flavor but this probably needed another hop variety in addition to the 2 that were used.
