Bottled (no BB mentioned). Ty bierkoning. Hazy golden color, huge off-white head. Fruity and a bit tart aroma. Peppery flavor with banana and mango fruityness. Quite full-body with obvious alcohol presence. Long peppery-alcoholic flavor with some yeasty notes. Standard drinkable triple.

Bottled. Hazy golden, fair sized head. Aroms of oraneg and licorice. Dry and hoppy with clean mouthfeel. Strongotes of almondy yeast and black currant. Strikingly bitter finish.Whatr it lacks in malt depth is recovered by the wealth of hop and yeast flavours.

Bottle from Dranken Geers. Clear gold if you don’t pour the yeast in. Thick white head. Strong blond beer in the Duvel style. Decent hops. Bit more yeast character than Duvel. Good stuff.

Tap. Cloudy yellow with a beautiful lasting white head. Odd aroma mix of herbs and cookies. Similarly the flavour is sweet cookies and bubblegum with an unpleasant herbal note.

Bottled (from Utobeer, London). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is alcohol, fruits, spices and some slight grassyness. Flavour is quite much the same with grass changed to herbal/mildly spicy notes. Pleasant to drink.

Bottle, 33cl. It pours a cloudy, rather pale golden body with a huge, foamy white head with quite short retention. The aroma is weaker than could be wished for, with fruit, some spice and hops, and pale malt. Effervescent in the mouth, quite thin, with flavors of fruit, spice and pale malt. Quite bitter. The finish is fruity and bitter, and I miss a bit sweetness in this beer. Citrusy as well in the finish. Sure a drinkable beer, but I don’t think it nails the style, and it is a bit boring. (080426)

Draught: Poured a hazy yellow that cleared up with a white head. The aroma is sweet and hoppy. Nice floral/fruit taste with loads of hoppiness in the finish.
