Crisp, super hazy golden and almost white coloured body with a ghostly glow and a thinnish, single centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of grass, hay, white grape juice, figs and a touch of dry cleanser. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal flavour with some hay, coriander seed, lemons, curacao and honey all noticeable and a touch of rather dry hops and a little sweetness from fruits, all at the end. Aftertaste shows a dry and herbal finish with some grain, coriander seed, curacao and a touch of lemons, all with a nice almost cucumbery freshness towards the finish. Overall, a decent saison that is much more on the vegetal and herbal side of things, but shows relatively well. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-July-2016 for US$1,69 sampled in my hotel room in Portland, Maine just one week later on 29-July-2016.

Bottle. Golden yellow in color, small white head. Good farmhouse nose; musty, earthy, floral, and dry. Mildly fruity. The overall taste is sweet, light earthiness. Grapes and fruity yeast, florals, reminds me of champagne. Nice interpretation of the style. The white grapes are a nice touch.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a very slight fruity yeast ester but it also has this burnt note that is really odd. Flavor is some neutral pale grain with again a ever so slight fruity yeast ester. I do get some white grape after the swallow but nothing to save this beer. This is the most unexciting saison I have had in a while. Very bland and the yeast barely gives this any flavor at all.

I don’t know why I get fooled by this, I mean the picture is cool but I kind of new what I was getting into. As expected, its not at all an actual Saison but a Belgian Ale. Additionally, its an American take on the style. White grape must and gooseberries, ummm, no. Sweet, sticky mouthfeel. Industrial Belgian character. A waste of my time and calories. Best before 5/18/16.

Bottle from Special Brews in Lynwood, WA. Pours light gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is lightly sour white berry - almost suggesting something like kiwi, if the strawberry is eliminated. Med body or so. Flavor is earthy, very lightly sour; seems grapeish. It’s good, but today it’s just not all that appealing to me. Probably should try it some other day.

Overripe pear, white grape, vegetal. Clear golden, medium snow white head. Pear and yeast, bready like pizza crust. Light body, moderate carbonation. I thought I wasn’t going to like this at first, but it drinks very nicely and probably should be a staple in any pizza joint.

12oz beer. Yes!! Grape Must!! I kind of like the gooseberry tone. Kind of don’t like the "grape must" tone. It’s unique enough, and takes Saison in an odd direction. Not really that good, artificial tasting. Really wouldn’t want a sixpack of this.

12oz bottle picked up at the brewery
Pours clear golden, small white head, some lacing. Aroma is floral, yeast and white grapes. Flavors are funky, grapes, earthy with a dry, tart finish
Ok, but not for me.
