Draught @ City Hops. Hazy dull yellow with small foamy whitish head, stinky cheese aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel taste, bit salty, stinky cheese flavor, thin body, long finish. Not too exciting.

Draft at the source. Aroma is fruity, leaning sweet, with grapefruit/orange, and a bit of pale malt. Quite cloudy pour, with a lasting white head and medium lacing. Easy drinking with a somewhat dry finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Dry citrus on the nose. Moderate sweetness with some crispy pale bread, bitter rind. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderate pale malt sweetness to finish, further rindy citrus. Not bad.

Tasting at the brewery: Pours golden with white head. Aroma is grapefruit, in good amount. Hints of pine in there as well. Taste is not very bitter at first, though the hops seem to get more pronounced as this warms. This isn’t really trying to be super-hoppy though, but rather maximize the citrus flavors of the hops. I don’t really know what bright means, so no comment on that aspect. Subtle. Quite nice.
