Can. TWSP. Pours hazy orange with a soft offwhite head. Aroma is stale, cheap hops and resin, minor citrus notes. Flavor is orange, somewhat artificial, resin, pine, citrus peel. Average at best.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Total Wine & More, Burlington. Appearance is hazy orange/yellow with trace sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is citrus, mostly orange, dank mustiness and milder tart fruit. Taste is sweet citrus and candied sugar, equally (or more) offset by back end caramel/bready malt and some dank bitterness. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as back end of taste. Overall, has the advertised contributions of orange citrus and honey, but it only come off as about average. To be fair, some of this may be due to this being beyond the best by date on the bottom of the can (11/24/18) so fresher hops may have yielded stronger citrusy hops, less bitterness, and less malts.

Can from Top Hops. Pours hazy orange with small foamy white head, orange aroma, medium carbonation, bitter orange peel taste, thin body, long bitter finish. Nice brew.

Lightly hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a smooth single centimetre tall tan head on top. Aroma of rich hops that show almost more of a peppery and grassy bite than those of citrus along with some moderate malt elements and a dose of assertive grain and more of a lager yeast smell than any ale yeast. Light to Medium-bodied; Slightly fruity flavour at first that shows more of the pungent (read grapefruit and pomelo) citrus notes than that of oranges and lemons, but also some assertive drying flavours and grain more noticeable than some of the other flavours, but still packing quite the punch and profile. Aftertaste shows some dry grass and a lot of deeply citrus flavours with a lot more grain and malt flavours than anything else. Overall, not too complex, and showing perhaps more of an APA, if that, than any IPA, and the drying and malt flavours show through more than any hops, especially citrus flavours. Nice to try, but there are much better 'New England' IPAs than this one or ones with citrus notes at all. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 24-February-2018 for US$2,95 sampled in my hotel room here in New York, New York on 25-February-2018.

On tap at the Big Hunt, pours a clear orange with a ring of white head. Nose is actually quite interesting, fairly dank, stinky onion, orange peel, orange juice, some soap. Flavor really lets down, soggy bread, too sweet honey/candy, orange soda, grass. Finishes sweet and a little oily.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow. Small white head. Aroma is citrusy and crisp hoppy. Peachy and lingering citrusy finish.

Bottle. Orange, biscuit malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Slightly hazy golden yellow with moderate light tan head. Moderately sweet citrus, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel/quinine flavor. Okay body. A bit harsh

Schaum bricht schnell, keine Perlen, Flasche mit Flockigem Bodensatz. In der Nase feinfruchtig, ein Hauch Alkohol. Im Trunk weich, cremig, mittig leicht alkoholisch, hinten grasig, bitter. Ganz ordentliches IPA. East Coast ja, NEIPA aber nicht - nicht verwechseln ;-)

Bottle: Hazy, golden-amber with a puffy off-white head. Grain, honey, orange-peel scent. Taste is lightly bitter peel hops, caramel malt, grain malt. Mild, soft, slightly dry. Not bad at all.....
