Imperial Porter.
Shall one compare thee to a fair beer,
Not even this perfect porter before thou will do thee justice.
Thou art more complex, brave and cunning.
Thou have changed more than a brew will ever.
Thou may be lil’, but thy mind is greater than words can speak and beer will ever taste.

Taster at Beer for Geeks. It is an inky black pour and has a deep roasty plum chocolate aroma. Medium bodied, the taste is molasses, maple and chocolate syrup. Not so complex and maybe a bit too sweet but well done.

Draft at Munich Tap House, 23rd March 15. This smells ok, a little boozy, however the taste is rough, overly sweet, sickly medicinal mess. Not much character to it and overtly strong ABV. Over rated, and a poor example of a porter

Complete black color with a fine beige head. Nice lacing. Rich aroma with wood, chocolate and coffee. Thick oily body with a soft carbonation. Rich flavor with chocolate, coffee, wood and molasses. Tasty little devil.

Black color with small head. Aroma is very fruity with blackcurrant and dangerously sweet. Coffee, roasted malts. Boozy towards the end. Lecker!
