Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Tropical fruit, citrus, malt, a bit sour.

Canned 10/15/17, drunk 11/24/17.
Clear (!!!) apricot-honey-orange. Beige-honey head atop shows modest retention. Smells like apricot and marmalade, with key lime, meyer lemon and a touch of grapefruit/pine on the finish. A fair amount of caramel and honey-like malt character balances nicely. Pretty well hidden is both yeast and alcohol.
Tastes more bitter than it should, which on one hand, does ward off the stronger-than-usual caramel malt character, but yet still seems more than is necessary in today's low bitterness IPA society. Apricot, nectarine, ruby red grapefruit and marmalade through the middle with lots of pine lingering. Carbonation is rather loose though somewhat made up for by being higher than usual. Reasonably well-made, fairly drinkable despite its bitterness (thanks to the strong attenuation). Must have been insanely bitter fresh if it's still this bitter after 5 weeks.

Can from City Hops. Pours faintly cloudy rich yellow with small foamy off-white head, sharp citrus aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter sweetish citrusy taste with mango flavor, smooth body, long medium bitter finish. Very smooth and easy to drink.

32 ounce can from Big Fatty’s BBQ. very dark brownish orange with a 2 finger off-white head. Very faint aroma. light citrus. a mild tart flavor with a lot of sugar leading to a pine-cone resin faint sugar finish. not all that great. sorry guys.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a semi-dark rusty orange color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated ever so gently. Sly messy lace.
The aroma had some fruity sweet hops up front and then playing with some bitterness from the hops. Subtle malt backbone, somewhat like caramel/toffee smoothness.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet fruity hops and then touches the bitterness to blend. Seems as though, the bitterness and the sweetness comes from the hops. Malts, once again seem barely there. Sweet and bitter hoppy aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionably smooth feel along my tongue. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, nicely done DIPA that seems a bit different than a lot of others of its style to me. I think a lot of the kids will like this one.
