A Brett-finished version of our Devotion Ale. Saint’s Devotion is bottle conditioned with brettanomyces to deepen the layers of flavor on our most hop-forward beer from Lost Abbey lineup. Mildly sweet beginning with a slight citrus bitterness. The Brett lends some earthiness with tones of cellar mushrooms and fruit.

Odense Beer & Ball Saturday - Nigeria-Denmark World Cup 1998. Hazy pale golden with a big white head. Funky aroma of leather, pineapple and grapefruit. Dry and funky flavour with lots of herbal and grassy hops and a quite bitter finish. Quite Orval-like but with a fruitier brett character

Bottle from BOE, split with JF at the pre 5K tasting, 12/11/13. Clear golden blonde with a big olde white head. Nose is bretty, light piss, funk, glue, lemon rind, grassy, floral notes. Taste is brett forward, dank wood, straw, lemon rind, soured citric notes, hint of soap. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry brett laden finale. Decent enough bretty Belgian number but no world beater.
