Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruits, some glue, alcohol and mild wooden notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, some floral notes as well as some caramel. A bit too alcoholic for it’s own best, but otherwise quite ok.

The triple you’ve had way too many times before. Clear golden with a huge white head,to the point of almost being a gusher. Smells like coriander and tastes pretty much like it too. Overly sweet, overly yeasty, overly herbal and too much carbo. Probably doesn’t do too much wrong if you’re into those kind of triples. Probably isn’t even a bad triple tbh. The herbs are just too much for me.

Commissioned brew since 2010 referring to an old legend centred around an inhabitant of the village of Hamme. Yellowish white, rocky, sticky head, deep peach blonde colour with somewhat brownish hue, cloudy and even more so after adding the deposit, which in this case consisted of an ominous dark ’stuff’ on the bottom of the bottle. Strong yeasty and estery aroma, banana, pear, canned apricot, bread dough, ginger, cider, grass. Soft mouthfeel, rounded, fruity and very estery-yeasty with citrus touch, mellow caramelly maltiness, relatively soft carbo in relation to the head formation, a bit earthy in the end with a leafy, briefly sharpish hop bitterness and a bourbon-like warming alcohol effect. I am getting used to Boelens producing ’soup’, in the sense that some of his beers are infected and clouded after even the most careful of pouring, but in this case that didn’t bother me, this is quite a tasteful ale.

Bottle shared. Pours very hazy dark golden with a bubbly off white head. Aroma of Brett, citrus, fruits and malt (infection? But not really in a bad way). Flavour is over moderate sweet and light moderate bitter and acidic. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Hazy orange color, good creamy beige head. Woody, spicey-yeasty aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Some leafy hops, not bitter anyhow. White peppery spiceyness. Quite yeasty flavor. A bit of alcohol. Thinnish and ordinary ale.
