Uncanny Valley™ is a New England style IPA hopped with Mosaic and Citra hops. Flavors and aromas of Ripe Mango, Pine Needles, Tangerine Zest, Watermelon, and Stone Fruit. The hop flavors wash over a balanced malt bill of Barley, Flaked Oats, Wheat Malt, Vienna Malt, and Raw Wheat to hold up the bold hops.

16oz can pours a murky pineapple gold with some creamy white head. Nose has lemon, honey, booze, melon, grapefruit, peach. Flavor has grist, oats, melon, peach, some grape. Finishes full bodied and bitter. Nice. Perhaps a touch hot on the end.

Can in Stowe - picked up in town. Pours murky yellow-gold with a small, creamy white head. Well and juicy, some tangerine, mango, peach, a bit of flinty minerality, dry pale bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with subtle warmth, more pith, some yeast, rindy citrus, mellow bitterness, lemon peel, grapefruit, peach. Not bad overall.

Chicken soup, BBCO appearance.
Bit more lime in the nose than from the single hop simcoe, but otherwise very similar. Same biscuit-cracker-heavy malt profile with light, doughy yeast, lots of fruitiness and light juice. No alcohol or flaw. Still not terribly aromatic, but clean, for the most part.
Bit more bitterness than in the single hop series with good dryness throughout and soft, malty textures featuring prominent biscuit. Grapefruit rind lingers with lime-mango throughout and moderate, engaging carbonation. Very flavorful, well-balanced and clean, with no alcohol or resin. For looking like such a mess, these beers are shockingly well-executed.

4 oz. draft at the source. Typical appearance. Grapefruit peel, pale grain, lemon rind aroma. Lots of bitterness in the form of citrus rind. Not real balanced BUT... it is what they want it to be. Massive lingering bitterness. ABV is not overwhelming.

Can: Poured a cloudy yellow color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and limited amount of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits notes with some light citrusy undertones is quite nice. Taste is a great mix of light citrusy undertones with some huge tropical fruit notes with some residuals sugar notes clearly identifiable. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation for style. Great NEIPA with nice tropical fruit notes.

16oz Can, split two ways in a newcastle style glass. fridge temp. looks like watered down orange juice. small white head. smells like spicy mangos. yeah, very spicy. clementines, tangerine, sugar and rye and spicy peppery. a light orange peel finish. mouthfeel is bland, it’s actually really intense for the flavor.

Tap, at the brewery. Very hazy, dark yellow. Film and ring of dense, white head. Nose has white grape. Lemon rind. Orange flesh. Honey malts. Notes of pine sap. Taste is citrusy, pithy bitter. Pretty juicy. Clean mouthfeel. Nicely zesty. White grape tang on the finish. Nice one.

The appearance was a light semi-burnt yellow almost orange color with a decent transparency to it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a decent pace.
The aroma takes on some dried pine, sweet to bitter grassy hops, light citrus with an underscore of tropical fruits.
The flavor brings it all together mostly with a sweet to bitter touch of a fragant floral underneath. Dried floral sweet and semi-piney aftertaste with the same sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation rides nicely - fairly low, allowing a nice crisp harshness to come across appropriately.
Overall, pretty good AIPA, but not the best of my flight today.
