The Evolved Euro-Style Lager. Brewed to spur the people to unite in the fight for imbibing emancipation and smash the oppressive tyranny of malt monotony! Mother Lager was a refreshing, evolved alternative to the familiar Euro-style imports, exported from the People’s Republic of Vermont. Brewed with Pilsner Malts, Nugget, Hallertaur Hops

Bottle. Pours like nice lager with a good head. Head stays around awhile. Good bubbly sensations greet the palate. A little bitter, like an apa, but then tits true premium lager feel starts to come thru. Mellows out in the end but there is almost a sharp pilsner hop thing happening as teh session comes to a conclusion. Yes, something between a sharper apa and pilsner. Fihishes much stronger than the 4.8 listed here. Good craft brew.

Bottle. Corn, barley malt, and grass/hay aroma. Medium yellow with giant white head. Mildly sweet corn/vegetal, barley malt, and moderately bitter quinine/hay flavor. Weak body. Wow - this is City Brewery worthy at 2-3 times the cost.

Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that left no lacing. The aroma was faintly sweetish and yeasty. The flavor was bitter and a bit yeasty. Long bitter finish that turns medicinal. Medium body. Awful.

"Limited Run" bottle from Kroger. Oh boy. Cant. Wait. I’ve never not let my feelings known to people who are aware I’m into beer and they say "OMG you have to try Magic Hat." So, maybe I’m biased here, but I will do my best to give an honest review. Clear pale gold, dusting of a head that’s gone to almost nothing before I lift the glass to smell it. Aroma of corn chips, bread, cardboard, grass. Flavor is grass, corn chips without salt - almost as if I let them disintegrate in my mouth to get all the salt off, then spit them in a pan, dried them in the sun, and then re-ingested them. This is crap. I remember Bud Lite tasting better.

Bottle: (Limited Run 5.0%) Clear gold with a small white head. Yeast, barley aroma. Taste is barley malt, yeast, a touch of metallic bitter. Slightly dry and grows a bit doughy after a while. Ok.
