33cl bottle from Melgers. Thick white head. Hazy blond pour. Hoppy aroma and aftertaste.. I liked it. The refreshing taste of a saison with some bitterness

Bottle at the Room 118 tasting, Tulip Hotel Bodegraven, post BBF 6 day 1 26/09/14 thanks to whomever shared this one. Hazed orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is bitter orange, apricot, spice, straw, farmy. Taste comprises bitter orange, citric rinds, yeast esters, bitter apricot, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate saison but nothing to rush back for.

Bottle from Het Biermoment, BB 06 2016, large sample, served in a trappist glass. Hazy golden to orange color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of grassy malt, wheat, flowery and grassy hop, hint of hay, bit citrus. Bit sweet in taste, bit bitter, slight dry. Finish is more bitter, slight soapy. Medium carbonation, thin to medium body. Decent hipster saison aka belgian blonde.

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning. Hazy, light amber color. Rather dense white head with reaonable retention. Aroma’s: caramel malty, yeast. Retronasal it’s yeasty with some earthy bitterness, some cork (?). Flavor is light sour, earthy, light bitter. Body is rather thin. Short finish, no new flavors. Disappointing.

No head but small rim, fully hazy orange-ochre beer. "Beery" nose, with malts, even hops, caramel and some spicy yeast. Malt, sweet, some caramel. Bit watery, little MF, feels well-carbonated. Another beer. One for the tickers. Saison???

Sampled @ Gents Bierfestival 2014. Spare white head, orange. Thick bland touch plastic cookie, molasses, flowers, bubblegum, lots of white sugar, touch metals, malty, caramel, toffee,.. Melted brown sugar body. Very BE-like in the way that this is just another one of beers that tastes very bland with almost nothing beyond a very dull brown sugar overkill.
