Bottled. A black beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of a roasted malt, chocolate, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Pours very dark. Aroma is heavily roasted and peated, liquorice, tar, burnt. Body is heavy, yet not too powerful. More sweetness than expected, yet still no sugarbomb. Flavours are sugar and tar. Medium long and sweet palate. Quite nice.
