Growler fill from Big Z - lightly hazy, reddish copper ale - very fine carbonation that fails to kick up a head (just a ring of fizz around the edges) - somewhat estery aroma, with medium sweet caramel, toffee, roasted nuts, and a toasted maltiness - low carbonation, medium body - the flavor starts out with sweet toffee and caramel, followed by some fruity esters - a tangy character that borders on acidity develops through the middle, as does a mild bitterness - nutty finish, with some lingering smooth maltiness - decent and quite sessionable, but probably not something I would buy again.
