0,33L bottle, BB 06.2015. Pours cloudy golden with moderate white head. The head stays. Aroma: mild citrus, fruits, coriander, yeast. Taste is sour with slight sweetness, spices, yeast, mango. Overall: good example of the witbier.

2/III/13 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: VI/2014 (2013-208)

Cloudy beige beer, small irregular white head, unstable, dissipates immediately. Aroma: lots of coriander, some banana, sweet and sugary, bit floral and soapy. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: some citrus, bit sour, yeasty, bitter touch, coriander. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, coriander, bit yeasty.

33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Hilde. Hazy golden with a white head. Familiair Belgian white aroma with lemon, yeast and coriander. Taste is less sweet than others in the style which is a plus in my book. Lively carbonated and a nice clean aftertaste. Nice Belgian white.

Bottle at home ... light hazy golden ... small white head ... soft flora salty yeasty nose ... over fizzy ... soft lemon .. juicy fruits .. lightest hint of hop ... its ok

33 cl. bottle @ home // purchased @ ALBO // 6.2 % wit beer produced by a local brewery (Antwerp) but with a brewer from the Netherlands at helm // I believe that he has brewed in the Netherlands previously // apparently based on a historical recipe, includes coriander,, wheat, oatmeal as well as barley malts // label is one of the enw ones that feature the drawing of two men from a less recent era carrying a church bell, they don’t look recently enough to cary even the church bell, ok must be based on a local legend, label mentions which one but I have difficulty finding the correlation a bit here // so far I have quite dug their dark beers but have come out very disappointed with their blond beers with the exception of Hop Ruiter which is a great Belgian IPA // pours a lightly hazy golden / orange, looks a bit like strong jasmine tea, oil like, feels a bit off for the style, head of the white kind fizzes a bit & disappear then // smell is not particularly exhilarating, hay, some citrus, sweet, almost corn, stale, some coriander, hint vegetable & dash plastic // taste is not entirely enjoyable, bit watery oatmeal, wheat, blended with alternative grains, stale, bit synthetic, weird white sugar sweetness, touch synthetic, hay, coriander in the back, some citrus // body is too watery & fizzy // hmm, no, wit beers is one of those styles where the beer has to be really good before it becomes enjoyable & this one feels more like a pale lager with some oat, wheat & coriander than anything else at times

Bottle @ Early Winter Tasting, Odense, 2011. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Yeast, wheat and mild spice. Simple and well made. Medium bodied. Dry end.

Hazy yellow with a small white head. Strong spicy aroma with coriander, clove and cinnamon and a bit of breadcrust. Sweetish malty flavour with bread crust and wheat flour, and a spicy finish

On Tap at The Morningstar, Utrecht, Netherlands 26.09.11 Poured a hazy gold colour with a white head in fact next to the Strandgaper by the same brewery there is not a lot of difference I had to sniff them to suss out what was what as the bar lady herself was confused after placing them down. Little soft and spicy some light soapy hops and wheat, its fine. A7 A4 T6 P4 Ov13 3.4
