Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, light liquorice, some hops. Flavour is dark and roasty, medium sweet, with a good bitterness in the finish. Really nice example of the style.

Thick creamy light brown head stayed on a rich near black still body. Malt & liquorice aroma. Full bodied & clean. Heavy malt, liquorice, raisin & demerara tastes with very bitter tangy finish.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color, cloudy. Chocolate, hints of coffee and roast in the aroma. Full bodied, slightly alcoholic. Hints of fresh grinded coffee, chocolate and ash in the flavor. Creamy mouthfeel. Good beer!

33cl bottle from Beerwulf Webshop. F: big, tanned, long lasting. C: black, opaque. A: dark malts, dark dried fruits, chocolate, cocoa, bit coffee. T: rich dark roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, cocoa, dark fruits, citrus, dark caramel, too much roasted tones for me actually, bit earthy, full body, lower carbonation, very good, fully enjoyed.

Tap. Black color with grey head. Aroma is chocolate, leather, prunes. Taste is chocolate, prunes, leather. Silky mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Fun!
