Draft with lunch keeping things light. Clear golden and some head. Nose and tastes crackery and pale malts, light bread, hint of citrus and floral. Crisp enough. Fine

12 ounce can from Woodman's Oak Creek, 6/8/19. Hazy pale yellow, large fizzy white head, poor retention. Aroma of sweet dough malt. Taste is doughy malt, some mild floral hops and cider apples. Thin. Best by date on the can is illegible. In any case, not great.

Pour is a clear golden with a tiny fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet grain and I'm guessing a floral hop. Flavor is more sweet grainy malt with a little harsh bitterness on the back end. Also tastes a bit adjuncty. Not a real good rep of the style.

Can, shared by William. Pours pale, yellow, with a big, frothy, white head. The nose is resin, black pepper, pine sap, hay, and light oregano. Not overly sweet, with a sharp bitterness. Light and easy, and a bit spicy.

Can from Binny’s. This is the “accessible” beer in the Solemn Oath lineup. Smell is “bowling alley beer” malty, but with an extra kick of German style hops. Pour is a bit frothy, over a light German lager/hybrid body. Taste has a bit more “meat” to it than, say, a Goose Island Summertime. This is never going something you sell your kids for, but a good session beer from a brewer known for over the top beers.

Aroma is malty sweet. Flavor is like nose. And is benefited by some Carbonic Tang to aid balance. Average body in late sweet finish. Forgettable.

Draught @ Albion. Rich yellow with small frothy white head, sweet malt aroma, high carbonation, fresh malty taste, thin body, abrupt finish with nice malty aftertaste. Refreshing brew.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and slight grassy. Breadish. Cardboardish, flat malty, slight straw and mild grassy. Toasted and mild bitter far finish.

Milk and Hops, NYC tap: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is lightly fruity and bready. Taste is pretty nice. Light sweetness. Nice breads. Very chuggable. Nice.
