Lightly hazy copper and a touch of an amber glow, all with a thinish, two centimetre tall off-white head that fades very quickly all with some noticeable bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. Aroma of light grasses and hay with some subdued yeast and more herbal elements along with a touch of sweetness noticeable from caramel, but the grasses and dry flavours are the strongest. Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence with a strong grassy and herbal note with a light bitterness from very low alpha acid hops with a touch of citrus, but mainly mellow and grassy dryness rules the flavours. Aftertaste is deeper and more potent with some malt flavours and complexity coming throughout with a bit more of the hops and definitely more of the yeast and some sweetness to go with the alcohol as well. Overall, a decent enough saison that is on the lighter side of seemingly all the characteristics, but shows enough quality throughout that make this nice, but not great nor worth searching out. I sampled this tall 65 cL bottle purchased from Trader Joe's in Washington (West End), D.C. on 11-March-2017 for US$4,99 sampled at home in Washington on 13-November-2017.

Bottle. Pours faintly cloudy pale yellow with small frothy white head, malt aroma, high carbonation, malt/vanilla/ bit of toffee in taste, thin body, abrupt finish. Smooth and easy to drink, but not too remarkable.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a dull grain but it does have some rose water which was nice. Flavor is more of a dull grain to start then comes a bit of the rose. Not much a yeasty ester to this saison. If it were not for the added adjuncts there would not be much flavor in this beer. This was just barely okay. Kind of thin and nothing from the yeast showed up.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy yelllow/amber with light head. Aromas of muted muddled fruit and Belgian yeast. Flavors of fruity esters, earthly and spicy Belgian yeast, wheaty malt and light orange. A little bit of Wit though still very much a classic yeasty Saison. Nice
