Bottle from Fred Meyer, Ballard, Seattle
Hazy amber color with medium head. The aroma is very nice, there are resiny hops, delicate biscuity malt and a touch of fruity hops. Lean body, with rather dry mouthfeel; the malt flavor has a very pleasant caramel and toffee accent; correct bitterness with a good amount of hop qualities, some citrusy resins included.
Very well balanced, yet with character, and easy to drink; excellent IPA.

ours orange/amber with off-white foamy head, lots of lacing on the glass (snifter). Hop aroma of oranges, pine resin. Taste is sharp and tart, hops up front, malt on the finish. Smooth with a little edge.

Draft at Standard in Portland, OR on 1 June 2013. Poured a slightly hazy amber with a thin, but dense white head. Aroma of floral hops, pine and tropical fruit. Grapefruit hop flavours with bready notes and some caramel sweetness. Nicely balanced bitter finish of hop resin and grains.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy opaque dark amber orange with a small off-white head. Aroma of big resinous hops, truckloads of tropical fruits, especially tangerine, and big caramel malt. Flavour brings out shitloads of bitter resinous hops, loads of oranges, and a big caramel malt backbone. Finishes dry and bitter, but also with some residual sugars. The malt profile is perhaps too prominent for my tastes; however, this is still a well-made big fat juicy IPA. Solid, but not my thing.

On tap at Ellensburg Pasta Co. Classic medium amber with a dense sandy cored head. Lots of grapefruit hoppiness in the aroma with a mild biscuity malt character as well. Flavor is near ideal. Big fresh citrus hops and just enough sweet light malts to compliment. Moderately bitter but so tasty. Creamy soft palate and easy on be carbonation. Very nice !

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours slightly hazy amber with a beige head. Aroma is incredibly hoppy. Lots of sweet fruit and citrus. Maybe a little pine. Med + body. Flavor is earthy, fruity, citrus, pine. It’s sufficiently NW to really grab the tongue sides. Finishes earthy and bitter. Just excellent.
