Can shared by Inoven. Hazy pale yellow color with a medium sized white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is citrusy fruity. Flavor is citrusy hoppy, citrus fruit hoppy bitter, lingering decent fruity bitterness. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Quite pleasant.

Can. Freebie from the boys at Wine and Whisky, Sheffield. Fully hazy, dark yellow gold. Fine white head. Nose has candied peel. Soggy peach. Herbal, leafy hop. Bit of a cryo hop thing here. Taste is sweet and estery. Moderate, spicy bitterness. Medium body. Fine carbonation. Lingering spicy bitterness to finish. Nice enough, especially for nowt, but it’s twelve weeks old, and perhaps it shows.

Can pour into nonic pint glass. Appearance is cloudy yellow-orange with tons of sparkle at the edges of the glass, 2-finger width foamy white head with poor retention and trace spotty lacing. Aroma is strong sweet orange and pineapple as soon as the can is opened, later mild tart orange as well with hint of herb and bready malt backbone. Taste is sweet mix of orange, grapefruit, and pineapple all competing for top billing and conflicting with one another, pepper spiciness and late tart fruit and bitter. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with soft, smooth texture, average carbonation with late lively zing to the tip of the tongue and finish as taste with dry, crisp mild lingering bitterness. Overall, a nice juicy look with a promising aroma but the flavors compete to make a whole less than the sum of its parts and a brief instant of overcarbonation that detracts.
