A pithy explosion of aroma and flavor, beyond hazy, and loaded with Mosaic and Citra to the point of stickiness. 7.1% ABV

Thanks Shuichi for sharing the can! Poured into a taster showing straw with sparse white foam. The nose shows lightly intense notes of guava and pine. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Lightly intense notes of guava with a moderate malt back bone and balanced but sharp pine bitterness on the finish.

Tap at Imazato. Passion fruit, mango, orange juice nose. Cloudy pastel yellow color, low head. Sweet and juicy, not much more. There is a bit of mango pit astringency, but really that makes it seem more like mango-orange juice with vodka added. Enjoyable, but not beery enough for me.

Pours hazy orange into a shaker. Bright white soapy head with good retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Mango and papaya aromas. Soft with sweet pineapple and mango upfront turning to dry tropical fruit skin and mild scallion in the medium length finish.

Got in a trade with spelingchampeon. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/3/2018. Pours very hazy deep golden amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very mild pine, zesty, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, gooseberry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is an awesome NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/light earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Impressively soft mouthfeel. Feels like Citra/Amarillo. Extremely juicy and lightly dank hop complexity; perfect wheat/oat/malt backbone. Not overly sweet/heavy. I loved Torque Wrench way more; but this was still a really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected. Probably the same hops with different ABV between both. Tasted nearly identical according to my other review.
