OK, so this can comes from fishkill? Sounds like an EPA problem to me, LOL. First off, it comes across very nicely as a wild tart beer. These domestic brews are gettin closer to the real cantillon stuff every year. Its fairly clear and pale, slight haze. Was expecting something like the rank I had 15 years ago but its actually a little more friendly and easy to get along with, considering the amount of touted hops in this stuff. Yep, not too bad after a hard days work! They got their money's worth today, maybe I should relax a little tomorrow.

12oz can pours a translucent sunflower yellow with just a ring of white head. Nose is big lemon, oily hop, herbs, Vitamin C. Flavor has some stale grist, then lemon and a VERY clear grapefruit note now, a little sweaty, a little salty. Finishes tart, but dry on the tongue with a little prick. Decent enough.

The Aromas are sour Citrus with a touch of Floral. Flavors are like nose, dry with a hint of fruit at the end. There is also a suggestion of hop flavor and a little hop bitterness but the sour dominates. If the reverse was true it would be better.

On tap at Union Square Cafe. pours hazy gold with a white head. Citrus, tart fruit. A hoppy sour. Interesting.
