Can. Amber beer with a whitish head. Dusty, grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and light earth linger with light pine.

In my point of view, it is a correct IPA, a bit watery, dry, hop, touch of grapefruit, malt, simply refreshing and pleasant, 19.03.2017, drinking it at Lausanne, Prélaz.

On tap at Craft Bier Bar Hamburg. Pours hazy dull yellow with a white head. Dry pine and citrus peels on the nose. Flavour has dry pine, citrus peels, dry finish. Hop expression is really tired. Not a particularly motivating IPA.

330ml can. Lightly hazed golden, white head. Aroma of citrus, malts, earthy peppery hops. Taste is very citrusy, mandarin, grapefruit, lemon and lime, some malt, peppery hop spice, moderate bitterness. Medium body. Nothing overly exciting but a solid offering for core range, which I'd somehow not got around to til now.

Aroma of citrus, orange peel, tropical fruits, resinous notes, fresh hops. Flavour is light sweet with a long bitter finish. Surprisingly tasty, simple but very refined. Just the way I like my IPA, fruity and rather bitter.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy deep golden body with a few flecks beneath a white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pine, lemon and honey. Flavour of pine needles and honey. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Piney and tangy.

Pours a moderately hazy, slightly dense/juicy-looking golden. Average sized, relatively dense white head; shows good enough retention and a hint of lacing. Average to slightly above average intensity in a clean aroma: a relatively noticeable malty base, with biscuity malts and a hint of honey, fresh tropical fruits (mango most prominent, pineapple) and a light grassy/piney touch. Taste feels nicely fresh and pretty vivid: malty base as per aroma, vivid, slightly jam-like tropical fruits (again, mango most prominent, pineapple), maybe a tangerine hint, a very light hint of spiciness, a very modest piney/resinous hint in finish/aftertaste. Medium sweetness and bitterness, none stand out in both taste and aftertaste, very balanced. Body is a bit lighter than medium, with average, soft-feeling carbonation; feels very quaffable and quite silky in the mouth, a very pleasant mouthfeel. Overall: somewhere in the middle of an old style west coast ipa with it's clean profile and a modern, soft, juicy ipa. Nails the pros of both. Very pleasant, a bit more intensity would have made it splendid.
