A powerful and hoppy IPA that uses a blend of American hops, giving the beer a fresh citrus and grapefruit punch. Contains barley malt.

Taste: Initially pink grapefruit juice will wash over your tongue, with a zing of lively carbonation that follows you all the way down. Lime zest and even a hint of peppercorn can be found if left on the tongue, before the massive mango kick knocks through your teeth.

Medium offwhite head. Clear coppery body. Tropical fruit aroma with mango notes. Nice, but not very complex. Dryish resiny tropical fruit taste with pineapple notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry resiny pineapple aftertaste with wooden cocos notes. Flavourful and has character without being harsh. Nice. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly, Strømmen.)

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a deep golden with a slight haze and a small, white head. Some citrus in the nose, but appears somewhat old and tired. Medium body, quite chewy and caramellish with a late hoppy bite. 100117

Keg at the Sheffield Tap, 20/05/16. Hazed orange amber with a light beige cap. Nose is earthy hops, orange marmalade, floral notes, toasted bread. Taste comprises mandarin, tangerine, straw, melon, soft bread, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA but just as good and better local offerings at a much lower cost.

Bottle from Porvoon Paahtimo, Porvoo. Dark amber, hazy with very little head. Massive spruce aroma, pine needles and tropical fruit. Taste is as good as the aroma promises. Maybe a bit sweet for an IPA but a gentle balanced bitterness rests on the tongue afterward. High resinous note in the long finish. Leaves me wanting more. An excellent IPA.
