On tap at St. Augustine's, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is quite subtle, with some lactose and light milky notes. Flavour brings out similar notes, along with a touch of sweetness. Very creamy mouthfeel, with a lightly sweet finish. Great milk stout here, with high drinkability.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small to medium tan head. Aroma of dried fruit, chocolate, light coffee, licorice, bread and light fruity yeast esters. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of dried fruit, chocolate and licorice. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Maybe a bit thin and the style.

This stout poured a deep black colour with a nice, big, creamy, brown head. To the nose there are scents of coffee, roasty malts and a little cocoa. First taste was very creamy with flavours of coffee, roasted malts and a finish of lite chocolate. Palate has a beautiful medium sweet roast lingering.

Bottle shared at Beer Market Jaffa. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Black-colored with a tan head. Roasty aroma with a bit of vanilla and milky notes. Sweetish flavor, roasty, with some light milky notes and a drier finish with a bit of hop bitterness. Medium-bodied. Decent.

On tap. Black body, light brown head. Aroma of cofee latte and chocolate (the milk character is very strong). Taste has the same characteristics, sweet cream, milk, coffee and chocolate. It’s really nice.

Tap at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a deep mahogany colour with a frothy tan head. The aroma is of roasted malt with some hints of cream. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with lots of smooth malt, liqourice and cream on the rich tasty palate. This really is a super chewy, rich, creamy smooth and very satisfying beer.
