Donkerbruin tot robijnrood bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag.
Aroma is zoetig en karamel achtig.
Smaak is licht bitterzoet met een afdronk van karamel en licht bitter.

A typical Belgian dubbel with all the qualities that you could expect, malty, caramel, plum, also dry, final of hop. 27.09.2018, drinking it at Bonfol, buying it at Delle, in one supermarket.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is malt, caramel, dried fruits, strong raisins, candy sugar, with a touch of iron. Flavour is sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Fairly typical Dubbel, could be a bit fuller. Hardly exciting.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Deep amber coloured beer with an array of drie fruits and some hints of caramel.

33 cl bottle. A mahogany pour with ruby shades and a tawny head. Aroma is milk chocolate, redcurrant, prunes. Surprisingly dry onset; medium body. Rather salty, low-bitterness finish that lasts for a while. Not the worst, not the best.

Pours a deep mahogany brown colour with a medium sized fast dissipating beige head. Aroma is sweet, dark fruits, berries, caramel, toffee and candied sugar. Taste is the same notes from the aroma, sweet and fruity with a touch of roasty bitterness on the finish. Thinnish body with a fairly lively mouthfeel. Slightly better than average Dubbel if maybe a bit too sweet for me.
