Granted, it was damn ’ difficult, but our customers asked for such a beer, we are actually quite proud of the fact that we succeeded. What we have succeeded with is to produce a beer that is not already from the first sip an attack on your tastebuds with a screeching hop bitterness and oceans of alcohol. Bryggen’s Blonde is probably best described as a beer with a gentle appearance that appeals to the thoughtful segment, rather than the tanned, hardened beer enthusiasts. In the glass it appears a warm golden beer both creamy and delicious. The scent is rich in floral tones and a slight hint of yeast reveals the Belgian inspiration.
With Bryggens Blond we would like to thank those of our customers who reminded us that a good beer does not always have to be a wild and violent experience.

50cl bottle at Traktørstedet Vestamager, Copenhagen. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small, white head. Mild fruity and malty aroma; some tropical notes, hints of caramel ripe fruits and herbs. Moderate sweet with fairly mild flavours and a pleasant bitterness. Enjoyable.

Oranjegeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht hoppig bitter en licht zoetig met iets van hooi en een grasachtige invloed. Standaard bier.

Bottled 500ml (Beergium)
Hazy orange color, medium-sized white head. Belgi yeast esters in the nose with light spiceyness and fruits. Light-bodied. Orange and orange zest is evident in the flavor. Otherwise pale malty, light fruityness and spiceyness. Easy, a bit citric blond ale. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bryggens Blond (2007) on 17 Apr 2008 at 01:11 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: Bottled 0,5 ltr, batch #84 (BB 02/2009)
Hazy orange color, small white head. Fruity (mango, dried apricot) nose with spicey touch. Fruit sugars and apricot in the flavor. A bit grainy and wheaty aftertaste. Not overly impressive Belgian ale from Amager.
