Tap. Started out with such potential. Nice brown amber color. Decent head and some lace. Aroma, was wonderful. Oaky vanilla. But the taste was a let down. Blend of favors was really good just weak and watery.

Bottle, thanks Becca. Nose is coffee, faint vanilla, bread. Palate is similar, maybe a bit watery.

Bottle @ Pours Points, Brown Dear, WI. Pours clear dark amber with a creamy tan head, lacings. Aroma of malt, caramel, vanilla, bread, light chocolate. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, vanilla, chocolate, light artificial. Thin to medium body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish. 121119

Pours dark brown with reddish hues and a brown head. Aroma of rum? dark malt and chocolate. Taste is refreshing with very dark chocolate, and toasted malt notes. Palate contains nutty flavors as well as subtle earth notes. Good.

Pours a dark soda color with dark mahogany highlights and a beige head with decent retention. Minimal lacing. Molasses aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. The added vanilla taste is a nice compliment to the porter. Tastes much like a brown ale. Decent roasty finish. Light alcohol front end with a light chocolate & vanilla finish. 6.0% ABV is pretty well hidden.

12 oz twist off bottle that was part of the World Market 9 pack Beers of Winter gift from my Mother in Law. MAR2618 printed on bottle neck. The pour is a brown ruby copper with a fizzy one inch light khaki head that is lasting. The aroma is sweet caramel, vanilla and soft roast malt. The taste is sweet cherry vanilla, caramel malt, and a bit of a coffee roast coming through in the finish. The palate is light bodied, very active carbonation and a sweetish vanilla lingering finish. With the sweetness and high carbonation, almost has a soda pop feel to it.
