This is the new recipe replacing the original He’Brew Genesis ale. Balanced between a West Coast style pale and amber ale with just enough malt sweetness to highlight a flurry of hop aroma and flavor. Witness the evolution of our original creation.

So, a beer near 6% is a session, heheheh. Permeating aroma. As soon as I tasted it I knew it was more than 6%. Big strong rude initial dull hop bite knocks my taste buds back like strong wind on a field of wheat. Uhg Uhg Ugly whitch with a brass brazeer. Does surprizingly have some sizzle, but still mouth coating. Shade of chewing old inner tube rock my world. Finish nags like a older sister who is really pissed off at you. Lots of unique difficult hops in this breathtaking brew, wew. Terribly on style, could pas for a double IPA - session it is not. Big thanks to nike for ripping up my lager loven palate just one more bitter ass time. Is it possible this rating is in the wrong place? Styled an APA - HAH HAH!! Humor totally makes my day.

Location: 12 oz bottle from State Line, 10/24/12

Aroma: The nose is a little bready, it some caramel malts, pine, and earthy hops
Appearance: It pours a caramel color with a small off-white head and a coating spotty lacing
Flavor: The taste is balanced between the bread/caramel and earth, it is lightly sweet and lightly hoppy
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a pretty decent drinkability, and a lightly dry finish to it
Overall Impression: Overall, this is a very solid APA or Amber or whatever you want to call it. It works well as a Session (even though its 5.6%). I'd drink this again.

This is alright. Smells hoppy, amber colour. Bitter but watery, light on palate and flavour. Session indeed, but that’s just an excuse anyway. Bottle from thirsty and miserable.

355 ml bottle @ OT. Pours clear deep amber with a very small offwhite head that quickly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is sweet with bread, overripe lemons, hay, urinal blocks, aspartame, vanilla, soap, caramel and hints of dry wood and golden syrup. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter and metallic with cread, orange peal, overripe lemons, grass, red apples and caramel. Mouthfeel is round, watery and light bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with bread, unripe mango, red apples, grass, orange peal and hints of caramel.

From a 355ml bottle on 26 September 2012. Pours a clear deep golden with a medium fine head. The aroma features caramel malt and some fruity hops. The flavour is bursting with caramel, toffee and butterscotch maltiness, which is balanced by a reasonably firm hop bitterness (the dry hopping is noticeable). A quite a distinctive and flavoursome ale.

12 ounce bottle. Not quite sure where I got it. Pours a clear amber color with a thin creamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Citrus hop aroma with caramel malts. The taste is bitter citrus hops and caramel malts. Medium bodied, refreshing, moderate lingering bitterness, high carbonation. Straightforward and very drinkable.

Pours deep amber into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Sweet yeast and stale malt aromas. Sharp with sweet caramel and yeast upfront turning to sour resin in the lasting finish.
