500ml bottle at 5.1%. Pours a hazy pale orange with a white head. Aroma of peppery hop spice, grapefruit, earthy. Taste is the same, citrusy, zesty, grapefruit, orange peel, earthy and peppery hop spice, bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Draft at The Harp in Coventry Garden. Hazy pale gold color. Small creamy white head. Light citrus aroma. Flavor is bittersweet citrus. Notes of lemon and grapefruit. Some piney notes on backend. Dry, bitter finish.

Etter 15 måneder med tålmodig venting var vi atter tilbake i trygge omgivelser på Cardinal for en kombinert sesongåpning og sesongslutt. Flere av deltakerne som ikke hadde sett hverandre siden mars i fjor benyttet anledningen til å ønske hverandre godt nyttår! Seremonimester Melberg styrte hele seansen med sedvanlig stødig hånd, og først ut var denne fatølen fra Kernel: lett uklar lys gylden med fint skum som varte. Lys og lett karakter med inntrykk av tropiske frukter, nectariner og noen granskudd. Svært lettdrikkelig, så vi kunne raskt gå videre i kveldens program.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV was said to be 5.4%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Nice fruity aroma, even better and refreshing flavour, with citric and discretely piney notes.

Bottle at home. Clear amber colour, small off white head. Aroma is hops, quite earthy, just a hint of fruitiness, maybe orange. Taste is fruity, with a bitter citrus hop finish. Maybe slightly peachy. Malt is quite bready and lingering In the background. Feels quite full bodied despite the %. All in all, very nice. Easy to drink, bitterness is never overwhelming. Nice.

Pretty clear deep blond beer, some chunks floating around under a big creamy off-white head, stable, bit adheisve. Aroma: lovely, very floral, pretty fruity, peaches, citrus, grapefruit, pineapple, lovely stuff going on here! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: floral start, bit soapy, lots of citrus, grapefruit, soft bitterness, bit yeasty. Aftertaste: bitter, floral, little soapy, fruity, nice! Maybe a little too soapy to be really good.
