Finally a mild ale rating. Pours brown with almost no head and maybe light malt and toast on nose. Tastes of malt, very light floral hops, toast, and maybe vegetable. Very subdued and a touch soapy. Reminds me of something out of a British pub but not many other warm fuzzy feelings

On tap. Pours with a clearish bronze-brown body with a lasting off-white head. Aromas are malty, brown sugar, caramel, medium esters, roast and light citrus. Flavors are roasty, bready, malty, caramel, and a light hop character (citrus). Very lively carbonation for the style and a bit on the drier side. Still malt forward with a very light roasted character. Nice mild.

Location: Draft at RnH, 10/23/11
Aroma: The nose is fairly subtle, light roast, bread, and malts
Appearance: Dark brown color, small light brown head, sheety lace
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet, some roastiness, and light bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, and it has a clean and smooth feel to it
Overall Impression: This was a pretty nice dark mild. It drinks nicely, and it has a solid flavor to it. It is quite solid.
