Samen met hen, gingen we op zoek naar een goed doordrinkbaar bier om te serveren in hun evenementenzaal De Blekerij. De naam brengt ook een link naar het diertje dat zijn thuis vindt in vele graszoden. Bij de receptuur werd gezocht naar een passende grassmaak. EBC 9.

@ Trollenkelder, Ghent. Hazy ambercolour, white foam. Very fruity lemony nose, citrussy and fruity. Bitter finish. Bit metallic.

Sampled at winterbierfestival (Vichte) 2015. Pours unclear amberblonde. Small white head. Smell is citrussy,bit bitter. Taste is mildly bitter, sweet, ok mf and carbo.

Bottle shared. Pours very hazy dark golden with a big off white head. Aroma of weedy and fruity hops, Belgian yeast and herbs. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Thin creamy white head. Cloudy blond pour. Slight bitterness. Ok.

New beer with a stable, off-white head and misty golden blonde colour; nose gets green apple, caramel, green hops, pineapple and mango; taste a rounded fruitiness with fresh citrus accent, yeasty, caramel malt sweetishness, finish nutty and toasty with flowery hoppiness. Not bad but nothing really exciting, either.

75cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus @ home. Clear light orange color, medium sized white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell and taste malts, lightly herbs, yeasty. A bit fizzy carbonation, average body.

Bottle @ benzai. Clear pale yellow with a medium sized white head. Smells malts, herbs. Lots of herbs. Taste malty, slightly sweet, some herbs. Medium body, nice carbo.

Bottle picked up Thursday 4th October 2013 from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, nr Gent, Belgie, consumed at home Tuesday 15th October 2013 Golden in colour with a large white/off white foamy head atop. Nose is fruity but mostly of the citrussy type, juicy soft squidgy citrus fruits with a little tiny streak of tic tac mint running through, not obvious perhaps but I noted it. Some spiciness, mid bitterness its fine but lacks assertiveness. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov13 3.3

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and light chocolate. Bitter, roasted malty and caramelish flavoured. Mild sweet and toffee malty. Bitter and roasted malty finish.
