This is probably my first Tripel, but I like it. Pours a hazy gold with a minimal head. Aroma of banana, yeast and hint of honey. Taste is of banana and spices. Boozy finish.

Gylden brun tåkete med offwhite skum. Humle, gjær og blomsterlukt. Bittersøt smak av blomster, humle, frukt og noe gjær. Litt syrlig. Bitterheten sitter godt.

Can @ St. Nicolas, Brussels. Pours dark yellow with a huge white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, honey, banana, some alcohol. Flavor is very sweet, malty, honey, sweet fruit, banana, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation. 280714

75cl bottle bought in Luçon, France. Pour is a cloudy orange. Aroma is banana and yeast. Taste is banana with a strong alcohol aftertaste. Would definitely drink again

Hazy golden beer with a thin head. Smells strongly of banana. Flavour is banana too with some earthy hop but there’s a strong, for want of a better term, alcohol-y aftertaste. It’s nice but that element of what’s almost alcoholic fumes does detract from it a touch.

Troebel geel bier met schuim. Smaak is hoppig en licht zuur, citroen en banaan. Vrij vlak voor een tripel, blijft niet zo lang hangen.

Bottle. It is very lively, and can’t wait to come out. Pours a cloudy amber, with a small white bubbly head. Lots of sediment floating around despite a careful pour. Aromas- hints of caramel, spices, malty and rich, similar to the blonde. Full and creamy in the mouth, plenty of carbonation, fruits, spices, bit of maltiness, almost like toasted teacake. Distinctive rich Leffe-ness. Good overall.

(Bottle) Hazy golden with small white head. Nice aroma of caramel, banana, vanilla, hints of spice. Medium body with mouth filling soft creamy carbonation. Foretaste has the same characteristics of the aroma, gentle caramel, banana and hints of vanilla and spice, and some citrus. The spice and citrus develop and the taste becomes less soft, leading to some bitterness and a hint of alcohol burn in the finish. Nice beer.

Die Farbe ist hell wie ein Weizen, schöner weißer Schaum. Das Bier ist schön vollmundig-weich, die 8,5% nicht zu schmecken. Schön süffig-angenehm. Leicht scharf und dabei hefig. Etwas muffig in langem Nachgeschmack, aber nicht störend. Gutes abgewogenes Bier!!
