Hazy gold, small head. Fruity, citrus aroma, reminds me of Karmeliet. Sweet, yeasty, a hint of bitterness in the finish. Soft carbonation, medium body. slick texture.

Hazy, orange colored, medium white creamy head, nice lacing and decent lasting. Aroma is of caramelized sugar, spice, some Belgian yeast. Taste is caramel and sugar, some fruits, spices, yeast, low+ spicy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft+ carbonation, bit creamy.

330 ml. bottle sampled @ home. BBF 31/08/2017. Purchased @ Delhaize. I have putting off doing this one forever, about six years I figure. Hazy sparkling golden, moldy off-white looking head. Massive chemical sweetness as far as the smell goes, chemical honey, cleaning products,… Intense in a bad way. Taste is sparkling overly sweet fish guts, esters, industrial honey, chemical, empty, cleaning products,… Clearly industrial fare, everything I don’t like about mainstream Belgian blond beers industrial in a fizzy unpleasant fashion. I might have enjoyed this to some extent six years, I remember liking the blond way back (haven’t had it in years) but I have grown to disliked beers like this, the empty, excessive industrial nature of this doesn’t help. Really not my thing. I cannot believe that tderoeck rated this 3.7/5.

Orange of color, very much banana/kruidnagel sweet and yeasty. Prefer it over the blonde, but apparently not my bag, baby. Backlog from 2014/08/29.

dry, warm taste, with a rich, creamy head that lingers. Dark gold, medium-bodied, moderate carbonation that flattens slightly as you progress. Hints of banana and bubble gum on the tongue. Subdued lightly fruity aromas. Alcohol taste strenghtens near the end. Warming. Not the most subtle or complex beer, but very pleasant sipping nonethelss on a cool night. Rerate 03/2017 upped from 3.5 to 3.7

33cl bottle as a gift.
F: medium, off-white, average retention.
C: amber, hazy.
A: banana, spicy, sweet citrus, coriander, biscuits,
T: medium to full malty base, banana, apples, citrus, coriander, bit watery, spicy, decent bitterness, medium carbonation, refermented in the bottle so ok for this commercial beer, enjoyed.

F: white, average, not long lasting. C: amber hazy. A: malt, banana, spicy, coriander, caramel, honey, hint of yeast and orange. T: sweet malt, caramel, spicy, pepper, honey, yeast, coriander, very low bitterness, contents wheat so the taste is not as smooth, but still worth to try tripel, medium to full body, good carbonation.
