[9/20/15] Bottle at De Heeren van Liedekercke in Denderleeuw. 2000 bottle. Clear golden. Very oaky aroma with lemon, funk. Sour flavor, very oaky, lemony, with cobwebs, some apple, leathery funk. Quite light-bodied. Great and refreshing.

Pours dark blonde, small white head. Smell is very fruity , soo much apple. Taste is rather sweet, apple , some candy. Some age signs , bu nowhere near what you think of 15 y. Only mild aspects of sourness. Beautifull, but not as sour as expected. This is hood in another way .

Bottle at DHVL, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out wood, medium barnyard funk, and a little horse blanket. Flavour is very well-balanced, with medium funk, some barnyard, a little leather and wet wood. Extremely well-constructed, with a soft palate. One of the best Lindemans product. Wonderful.

Crimson gold. Great color 1 finger big bubbles. Metallic sulphur and egg white nose. Taste is sweet and not terrible. Sweet, lemon, light metal, thin, very dry and a bit like black tea. Very refreshing on a hot day anno 2000 bottle @ DHL

#2150. 2000 Vintage. Did most of a 75 cl. bottle@ DHL. No label. Does anyone else even have this one anymore? Bright orange pure lambic appearance, some white head, great for pure lambic, the head looks a bit like mouldy. Nose is huge dust, musty cellar, tart rotting lemons, fermentation, musty, vintage notes, really old non-prime lambic. Taste is mellow musty, rotting cellar as well as sweet cellar, tart lemon, smallest hint of honey, rotting vintage notes, very old Lindemans lambic (dig the young one way, way more), end of the bottle has the taste od mould somewhat. Lambic body feel. Old, possibly too old with these hardcore notes but still very, very enjoyable lambic. Don’t think that this is the best that Lindemans has done so far, that 20th Anniversary blend is mighty fine.

Bottle graciously shared by Anders. Pours with a murky yellow hued body with relatively low carbonation. Aromas are musty, strawberry, rich funk, medium acid. Flavors are estery, strawberry, musty, lightly sweet, decent acid, cobwebs, funk. Lower carbonation. Feels quite old and delicate.

2000 bottle at DHVL. It pours clear amber, with a fluffy white head. The nose is pleasantly sour, ice tea, apple, pear, melon and light vinegar. The taste is puckering tartness, sour lemon, faint ice tea, floral, Assam tea, undertone of earthiness, white grape skin, apple and pear, with a tart finish. Medium body and no carbonation. Nice level of complexity and soft mouth-feel. Smooth, well balanced and highly drinkable. The best beer Lindemans have produced hands-down.

750 ml bottle thanks to my Belgian hookup Ayrton! Many thanks man. Pours a super cloudy orange color with a small white head that is persistent. Lots of caked yeast on the side of the bottle. The cork was quite solid. A rich superb dusty aroma of pure dusty gueuze with loads of cobwebs and lemons, oranges. Not quite as deep as Millennium but damn awesome. The flavor is more sour and fruity than dry and funky, a thin palate, zesty at times, loads of life in this brew. Lemons throughout, lots of wood and hints of lactic tartness. Very good, excellent in fact. An honor to try!

Bottle shared by Edo at the Heeren van Liedekercke. Clear golden color, no head. Aroma of barnyard, hay, some residual sweetness. Relatively sweet for a lambik (ofcourse, it’s a Loerik), yet again good lambik qualities of barnyard. I don’t prefer the sweet tooth in a lambik, but it suits the beer fine.

Bottled at Woodshop 7, from Anders. Very interesting fruity nose, with pineapple, peach and almost tropical fruits. Very funky flavor, not so sour, with very nice fruits again approaching tropicality. Very nice, and quite unique fruit flavors for a lambic.
