RBSG 17 grand tasting. Oily black pour, thin ring of beige head, curtains of lacing. Aroma has coffee (as expected) up front, lot sof coffee cake flavors behind. Taste has the roast malts, coffee, cinnamon and chocolate, raisins. A big breakfast sweet roll. Nice

Bottle courtesy of Jacob. Viscous black pour with a creamy mocha head. Roasty malt & heavy spicy nose with plenty of coffee, ginger, cardamom & allspice. Molasses & even more ginger. Sweet bitter taste. Round astringent tiny boozy mouthfeel. Solid impy! Like this a lot more than the base.

750 ml bottle tasted next to regular and barrel aged version. Thanks Mike!! Black color with brown head. Roasted malty aroma, spicy, coffee, chocolate, cocoa, cinnamon. Sweet and moderate to heavy bitter taste especially in the aftertaste, with some acidic notes. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared late-nite at RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Cheers! Pours oily black-brown with a frothy beige head. Hefty coffee in the nose, light mint and peanut butter. Medium sweet flavour with light mint chocolate, some earthy bitterness, moderate coffee, cocoa. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with more minty notes, good roast, chocolate, bittersweet coffee, earth. Great stuff.

Well integrated coffee and big roast. More chili evident here than in vanilla version. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bittersweet finish with light vegetable coffee aroma. Very good but less so than other variants. Tap at churchkey thanks to iphonephan.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with small tan head. The aroma is strong roast, cocoa, cinnamon, chocolate. Thick mouth with very coffee roast, burnt caramel, chocolate, sweet and creamy, really enjoyed this.

Draft at City Beer in San Francisco. Layers of deep fruit, bread malt, and spice, with moderate high coffee and roast married well. Black with light brown head that dissipates quickly and leaves a very faith collar. Taste is loaded and complex with the coffee adding a bonus from the base beer, which is already a great starting point.
