[9/26/15] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2015 in Bodegraven. Cloudy golden. Herbal spicy aroma. Herbal spicy flavor, a bit grainy, with a bitter herbal finish. Medium-bodied.

Keg at BBF 7, Bodegraven, 25/09/15. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is bitter orange, straw, faint spice, citric notes, bready. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, lemon rind, light yeast, earthy, herbal notes, spice, orange peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate saison.

Sampled @ Borefts 2015. Hazy light orange color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, yeast, herbs and spices, lightly bitter. Average body and carbonation. Meh, not my thing.

Tap at Borefts ’15. Pours hazy dull orange with a small white head. Aroma of peppery saison yeast, light fruits and bread. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation. A fun experiment that comes out drinking pretty well.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 1. Brilliant idea, saison brewed with Amstel instead of water & called Mennoliefde. Appears to be the same recipe as Mannenliefde, picking up similarities. Hazy orange, creamy white head. Nose is blue cheese hops, touch floral, pepper,… Taste is blue cheese hops, floral, dough, hay resin,.. Body is touch light & floral. Quite loved it but I am a sucker for blue cheese hops. Had it twice, liked it a bit less the second time, lowering initial score.

@Borefts 2015, van tap, bier op basis van Amstel bier, schenkt geel met witte kraag. Aroma van een enorm kruidig bier, Smaken zijn erg zoet, komt ook erg saisonachtig binnen door de vele kruidige smaken, verder matig bitter, medium body, ok co2, valt mij niets tegen.. had er dan ook niets van verwacht...

Trübes dunkel goldgelbes Bier mit einer geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Gewürzen, Ingwer, Citrusfrüchte. Geschmack sehr würzig, Kräuter, Ingwer, Brennnessel.
