330ml bottle from Systembolaget Kiruna. Pours a rocky off-white head, rather quickly reduced to a tiny layer. Beautiful, bright, ruby brown body. Roasted dark and earthy malts to the nose. Basically malty taste of almost burnt dark malts with hints of nuts. Malt-bitter endnotes. Average for the style (03.06.2012).

Flaske 0,33l fra Systembolaget i Kiruna. Drukket hjemme 2 Mai 12. Ultradyprød/svart med et høyt kremaktig skum som fester seg til glasset og varer lenge. Forsiktig kaffearoma med en undertone av røyk. Lite kullsyre. Smaken er røykpreget - men svært forsiktig. Svakt syrlig ettersmak. KI=5

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Viking Line Gabriella, 20111114) The beer poured very dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had metallicness, malts and mildly sewer. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, metallicness, paper, molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. Some unpleasant parts but still drinkable - boring.

Pours dark brown with a small white head. Aroma has metallic notes and hints of caramel malts and chocolate. Taste is quite metallic but has notes of chocolate, coffee and caramel. Quite carbonated and stale finish. A bit unbalanced.

Mahognyfärgad klar vätska med lågt skum. Doft av mörkt bröd med russin och lite karamell. Lätt kropp och munkänsla, rund, len, brödigt söt men inte för, lite sötlakrits, läder, aningens rökig och med en ytterst liten blommig efterbeska. Ganska smakrikt om man tar sig tid och känner nyanserna för det är en blyg brygd som inte kastar sig över en.

Bottle 33cl. Dark red beer with off white head, nearly beige. Aroma to toasted malt, roasted, coffee, black chocolate. Taste to coffee and toasted malts. On palate results some hopped hints but also sweet, dark chocolate. Medium body. One of the best dark beers brewed in Spain.
