Tap @ Borefts 2015. Black and opague. Soft roastaroma. Oak, malty, vinous. Full bodied. Roast, ash and raisin. Alcoholic, cocos. Good but needs more time.

Tap at Luppolo Station in Rome-Italy. Deep black pour, tick and a bit gassy head (decent retention). Nose: ouh! Bit smoky, cocoa powder, hints of caramel. Mouth: carbonation is very soft almost flat (2 yrs old), a bit empty but quite tasty. Roast and a peppery finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Borefts Beer Festival 7th edition day 2 26/09/2015. An attractive black guinness looking beer with a lasting creamy tan head,. Aroma is creamy, woody, bounty bar, coconut and chocoalte. Flavour is composed of creamy chcocolate malts, woody, sm,ooth coconut, little tangy red berries. Palate is full smooth bodied, creamy, velvety with a spicy finish.

Botella 33 cl en Cimmeria 27..10..2016. (r49). Fcpref no legible en chapa. Color negro intenso brillante con poca espuma beige. Aromas y sabores licorosos maderas envejecidas y algo tostadas. Ligeros cacaos, especias y vainillas. Cuerpo medio a intenso bastante sensación alcohólica predominando sobre los sabores. Bastante buena.

Draught @ 7th Borefts Beer Festival 2015, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Brouwerij Kees Barrel Project #02/2015 ].Clear dark brown black color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, alcohol. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, molasses, dark malt, alcohol, roasted, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. 0.33 l bottle from ’Kaapse Brouwers’. Opaque black with a very thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, brown layer. Sweetish-fruity, roasty-malty, slightly peaty aroma of dark chocolate, raisins, burnt nuts and scotch. Sweetish, roasty-malty and slightly fruity taste of dark chocolate, tar, burnt nuts, some licorice and hints of raisins, followed by a long, slightly warming, medium peaty finish. Medium to full body, creamy and silky mouthfeel, totally flat. Superbly balanced, intensely aromatic but not offensive at all - very good!

Borefts VII. Day 1. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Mildly sweet dark malts. Light cream. Piney hops and even some hop spice here. Light dry finish brings spicy alcohol.

[9/26/15] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2015 in Bodegraven. Black with a tan head. Big aroma of chocolate, fudge, vanilla, whiskey, some cake. Sweet flavor with whiskey, chocolate, roast, fudge, vanilla, wood, and a bitter finish. Full-bodied. Great stuff.
