Bottle at home. Pours a cloudy dark orange colour with a light brown, medium, creamy and compact head. Aroma of pine, leather, grapefruit, heather, spices and some caramel. The flavour has more spice and in addition roasted malt, forest floor, heather and hops. Has a slick mouth feel, and a medium bitterness. A rich, tasteful and aromatic IPA. Nice one.

Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø, Langnes. Veldig uklar. Mørk aprikosfarget. Høyt luftig skum med litt farge. Tett lacing. Litt beskjeden - men god - fruktaroma. Mest fersken.Smaken også fruktig og blir ganske søt før den ender passe tørt & litt bittert. Mye bunnfall.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Herbal and slightly fruity hoppy aroma, orange and orange zesty undertones, a touch of pine, caramel malty basis. Taste is initially bitter and herbal hoppy, fruity hints of bitter orange and orange zest, a dry, woody, piney note arises from there and forms a moderately long lasting finish. Grave, Norwegian, earthy and herbal character, in broad contrast to sunny, fun-loving, fruity West Coast examples.

Bottle from BarleyWine, Copenhagen - fuzzy orange to amber coloured pour with small off-white dissipating head. Aroma and taste holds notes of citrus and tropical fruits, sweet biscuit caramel malty with a bitter finish. Decent.

330ml bottle, batch 27, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Displays a frothy, bubbly, beige, lacing-head and a cloudy dark orange coloured body. Well hopped aroma with malty sweetness beneath. Bittersweet flavours of herbal hops, citrus, apricot and brown malts. Rather fresh malt fruity ending. Fine bodied. Likable (Tromsø 09.05.2014).
