Blond ale, top-fermenting, brewed following tradional method.
Viven Blond is a continuation of the original, unique recipe that started it all in 1999. The blonde Viven is a nice companion to many dishes and salads. It is a real thirst quencher. Viven Blond is a little bit of summer in your glass!

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg Hazy yellow with a big white head. Fruity, slightly hoppy and yeasty aroma. Decent but middle of the road blonde.

The first Viven beer, dating from 1999, so from before the brand was relaunched in 2006. Golden blonde ale with a thick, rocky, snow white head and subdued fruity and malt sweetish character, some herbal hops in the finish. Okay for quenching the thirst on an outdoors café but lacking personality, this was nothing compared to what the renewed Viven brand has to offer these days. Maybe this one has improved since then, so I should re-rate this soon.

Good Belgian blond beer. Very yeasty and fruity, with some aroma hopping. Does not have the artificial taste these beers often have nowadays.

Bottle thnx to Viven Pours clear blonde, good to small white head . Smell is sweet maltyness Nice amount of bitterness in the taste, as well as a dry, almost buttery grainy character . Not nearly as sweet as expected . Nothing to special though .

Lekker, goudkleurig bier.

Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig.
