ruby red color. Cherries, prunes, raisins, brown sugar, semi-sweet. Full bodied low carbonation. Lovely when warm. Rounded. So nice

Shared 750 ml paper wrapped bottle, at the Yule beer tasting of Lilland Bryggerihotell, Tau. Red colour, pink head. Distinct aroma and flavour of cherries and glühwein (gløgg) spices, more sweet than sour. Sampled moderately chilled, not hot.

Red color, big frothy head. The beer gushes heavily, I lost about a third of the bottle contents. Cherry and cinnamon aroma and flavor. Sweet, vinous and rather alcoholic. Nice beer, but I prefer the "ordinary" Liefmans kriek. And even more the Liefmans Kriek from the wooden cask they sold in De Beyerd Breda during the Belgian Beer Week in the 80's and early nineties.

19/I/19 - 75cl bottle @ Nieuwjaarsreceptie Gentse Biervereniging, BB: n/a - (2019-122) Thanks to everyone for the huge bottle share!
Drank warm as prescribed on the bottle. Clear pale pinkish red beer, practically no head. Aroma: very sweet, cherry flavoured candy, sugary, slightly spicy, dry, some cinnamon. MF: no carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sweet and sugary, lots of cherry flavoured candy, way too sweet. Aftertaste: more of the same sugary stuff. This is pretty damn bad. How did this beer get scores of 86 (total) / 97 (style)?

Ruby colour, minimal pinkish head, aroma of cherry, some cinnamon and clove; taste is mulled wine-ish, with cloves, cinnamon and cherry; more sour-ish when boiled; many thanks for sharing kapusil!

0.75l bottle. Tried it both at room temperature and mulled. Ruby red body with a pink head. Aroma and taste of sour cherry, cloves and cinnamon with a slight lemon juice-like sourness. When mulled, it's less sweet and more acidic. Nice one.
