Swinckels’ is a full-malt pilsner that is brewed in Lieshout. Swinckels’ is made with a blend of Cascade hop from the American Yakima valley and the Polaris hop from the Hallertau region in Germany. These hops give Swinckels' its unique character, which can be described as slightly spicy and fruity with a refined bitter, concluding with a beautiful, smooth aftertaste. The combination of a unique blend of hop varieties, mineral water from Bavaria's own spring and especially selected wheat malt from Bavaria's own malting plant creates a unique flavour and gives Swinckels' its distinctive, complex and refreshing character.

Light aroma. Golden color, nice head. Light sweetness and weak bitterness, some strange hop notes. Light body.

A pint on tap at Sendmast. Sok elemeznivaló nincs rajta, a közepesnl valamivel jobb macro lager, ami jellegtelenségbe fullad.

Bottle at Eindhoven Airport. Grainy malt aroma with cereal and barely a hint of Cascade fruitiness. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Fairly watery body. Pretty standard subpar Pils.

Bottle from Beer52. Clear gold with medium sized foamy head which dissipates quite quickly. Very cereal and grain noted, some sweetness and light floral hop. Taste is similar, grain, grass, light floral resin, reasonable crisp bite, bitter finish with light spicy notes. Decent for the style.

Bottle from Lowcostbeer. It pours clear pale yellow - gold with a small white head. The sweet, grainy, grassy, leafy, custard creams, sponge cake and white sugar. The taste is fairly crisp, dry, bitter - sweet, snappy, grainy, grassy, leafy, fairly sweet malt base, biscuity, custard creams and perhaps a touch of cornbread with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Overall it's ok, but not as chuggable as I would like for the style.

Bottle from Low Cost Beer. Appearance - golden and clear. Decent suds on top. Nose - corn oil and berady. A bit caramel. Taste - corn and bready, just as edge of caramel again. Palate - light bodied, only slight bitterness. Overall - easy to drink, not quite bitter enough for the pils style.

Bottle from Beer 52 – drank at home. Pours a golden yellow with a scummy white headand good lacing. Tehre’s a fragrant hoppy aroma, but not much else. In the mouth it is juicy, but sickly sweet with metallic undertones. Bubblegum and hints of malts as well. Maybe adjuncts too. Rather watery. It’s OK – I’ve tasted worse.

330ml bottle from Beer52 as Swinckels Superior Pilsner, just in date when drank on 9th February 2023. Clean and clear bright golden body, wispy white head. On the sweet side, Rice? Corn? Struggled to finish it.
