Cask gravity at my friends wedding down Sumerset way. It pours slightly hazy dark amber - brown with a decent white head. The nose is earthy, toasted nuts, roasted malt, leather and wood. The taste is bitter - sweet, wood, resin, varnish, leather, light spice and a touch of caramel. Finishes up dry. Medium body and fine carbonation. Much better condition on this one compared to Lady of the Lake, even though they were probably racked at the same time. Decent enough ESB.
