Draught @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Ramses Bier Illimani Espresso Porter ].Unclear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, espresso, dark malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, malt bitter, espresso, coffee, wood, dark malt. 330ml bottle. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is caramel roasty malt. The flavour is moderate sweet light liquorice bitter with a smooth rich roasty, liqouirce, charcoal, dry coffee, light chocolate, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg at GBBF’17, day three, 10/08/17. Light black with a decent tan cap. Nose is chocolate, light coffee, dried fruits, mellow roast. Taste comprises cocoa powder, toffee, fruit loaf, dried red berries, light charr, coffee notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough porter.

Keg at GBBF. It pours jet black with a medium tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, espresso, umami, salted liquorice, toasted sesame, vanilla and meat. The taste is rich roasted, earthy, charred wood, espresso, charred wood, peppery spice, ash and umami with a drying and earthy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Earthy coffee action.
